I'll be there the weekend of March 30th.

Sounds like a Road Trip, to me.

I'm guessing that you could find interest from [livejournal.com profile] minnehaha and [livejournal.com profile] mizzlaurajean, among others.

Although I'm not sure you could get them to the exhibit once you got them to New York...

Hmm. Five-month-old baby ... I'm guessing ear infection prevents you from going.

(I'm just bitter because my planned trip to Barcelona in February is getting cancelled due to puppies.)

Why don't you ask if you can participate in the symposium on the 22nd of April? Fun, plus resume points.

K.

Yeah. It's terrible timing ... but I /need/ to go, like, for professional reasons.

Maybe Manhattan College will fly me out in March or something for an interview ...

These things are set some time ago and controlled, in the world of museums, by art historians (different department, different training, different phd.).

The problem is that there are famous Venetianists who hog all the glory. :) But if I can publish my first book with Johns Hopkins, it'll elevate me.
