Music Party "near" Minicon!

We are hosting a music party at Minicon on Friday Night, and would like to invite you all to come.

Details:

Suite 118, 9-late

There will be snacks.
There will be drinks.
There will be music by invited musicians only.

If you are not attending Minicon, you are welcome to come to our party and meet buttonfish and otherwise make merry. Minicon does have, for the first time in a long time, one-day badges available though, and I'd encourage you to get one.

Louie and I will absolutely be at Minicon with our instruments. There are times that I don't think/feel it's worth the effort, and that so many of the good times are in the past, and I should just leave my guitar at home (or in my room) and just socialize or hang out. Then I walk into a room with so many of my musician friends, and the circle is starting to happen, and I realize that I so, so thoroughly need to play and to be part of it. So -- shall Louie and I bring our instruments? (And yes, you can play our bass if you want. And -- will you have a bass amplifier in the room with your party, or shall we bring one?)

Please, bring a bass amplifier, a bass, your instruments, and yourselves. If you'd be willing to leave the bass and amplifier in the room (locked up) for me to play after you go to bed, that'd be nice.

My feeling, the last few years, is that I wanted one more select, mayhap even SEMP, style music jam, and then a number of more open ones. So we're organizing this one!

As your better (or at least prettier) half said, I am without current vehicular motivation. That said, if Reed wants to come and someone has a car I can borrow, I'm always up for the quick jaunt to grab him and take him home. We also are skilled at housing a Reed overnight (or over-morning) should he need such.
