And the winner is ...

Disneyland for adults is how my parents describe Venice. We have been having a truly lovely time and eating wonderful food. They found, via much research, a restaurant called Zucca which presented us with one of the most memorable meals I have had in Venice (pumpkin souffle, inventive contorni, delicious duck, lamb, and rabbit, sumptuous deserts).

But upon arriving back in Venice from one night in Milano (where I met them), I found, to my delight, a lovely and kind postcard from Miss Laura Jean, who is awarded first prize in my little contest, and who I hope will be pleased by her prize when I return to Venice. Second prize goes to Pied_Piper and family, and I hope they like their minor token of gratitude as well when I return.

At any rate, off to the Galleria dell'Accademia!
