Dec. 14th, 2005 10:13 am(On this snowy day) - According to the New Yorker: Since we've (no clue who they mean!) been keeping track (since the late 1800s), 8 of the 10 hottest years on record have occurred since 1996. 2005 is on track to be the hottest year on record.
