nah, in northern IL, the 1st snow is Thanksgiving day, like clockwork (srsly). Last year in Sept, and this year in Oct.- that Is early.

Snow!!!!!!

(I still get excited, after going without it for 3 years. But it helps that snow overnight/in the morning mostly melts by the afternoon, here, and I don't have to shovel it anyway. ;-D)
