This is the best map ever.

How can I get a poster made of it?

Contact the copyright holder (seen in the bottom right of the map image). They might sell them.

Gah!

Too many rights...copyright is in the bottom left of that image.

Well, it's from a 17th century map. They took it from the scan done by a prof. and his students in Groningen, and they aren't selling prints, alas.

Let's say all I had was this jpg to which I linked and wanted to find a good way to make my own print ... what then?

Option 1: Bring the file to Kinko's. They have a variety of large format printing options.

Option 2: Ask Karen's sister for advice.

Wow. Thanks.

Uh, I want it 24x18 then so it looks sharp! It's just so beautiful and I want to hang it on the wall in my office and look at it longingly a lot.

Hey I have that map in my vintage map desk calender.

I am actually amazed at the resolution considering how fast it loads.

Maybe I'll just print one out at work for my own amusement.

Let me know how it looks, please.
