I played this Viking Game this morning with my students. A great way to open the class, although the collective wisdom of the students didn't do very well. Fortunately, their mediocre score inspired some of them to keep playing throughout the day and email me their high scores (1091 is the highest).

Good luck!

Hmm - 790 on the first try. I am apparently not a very speedy Viking.

Thanks for the cool link - it's neat that it got the students involved enough that they kept playing.

548-I'm worse...off we go again. Did you know I work in education and this technically qualifies as my job?

Cool...

So far my high schore is 1,078 -- but it's silly as I get the same weather conditions sailing in winter as I do in summer!

1089 -- so far it also hasn't reported what the differences are in choosing a landing point on the island.

Fun!

No one said it wasn't silly!

The key with landing positions is whether or not the monks see you on your way in. If they do, they can hide some of the treasure.
