It's funny because when I was growing up I was told how spolied rotten I was. And by today's standards in general most kids I know have fewer boundary's then I did.
In general I think many of these issues co-sleeping whether parents want it or just let it happen is not harmful to kids but I do think it can put great stress on marriages and studies I've read seem to back that up.
Studies also indincate that we all get better sleep if we sleep solo. But I can't fathom not having my sweetie next to me.
It's fascinating to me how parenting has evolved, though only some of it is for the better I think.
I have lots of opinions/theory's on the matter and I look forward to testing them, until I will try to reserve too much judgement.
