In other news, if you put our little boy in the baby swing and give him a little push, he knows how to rock forward and backward to maintain momentum and direction. It's pretty neat. Whole sequence of pictures starts here.

Well, you just got me wishing again for grandmotherhood. (I have to tell my friends I want grandkids, because it helps keep me from telling my kids. Because among the very worst reasons in the world to have babies is that your parents want grandchildren.)

That is one cute kid.

My dad should have tried that. Apparently he had no problem telling me he wanted grandchildren and could I have some now please? And before you think that's better than telling your kids because they're younger than me, it started when I was in high school. The actual part about having some waited for a couple years but he made no qualms about how much he wanted babies to spoil.:)

WOW! i didn't think he could get cuter from when i saw him in winnipeg and minneapolis. i was wrong. he's WAY cuter in chicago. he's lucky to have you two as parents. don't forget that all three of you are lucky to have/be with each other.
