Okay, specifically looked up in Google Books: Abandoned Children: Foundlings and Child Welfare in Nineteenth-century France By Rachel Ginnis Fuchs and it gives an economic chart of the price of bread, the price of grain and the cost of living index. (pg 98) search for "Bread" when you find it in Google Books. (Not sure how helpful this is -- doesn't give an exact price -- looks like econmic data.)
