Hasn't he suffered enough? I mean, until October, he had waited his whole life, nearly TEN MONTHS, to see the Red Sox win a championship. The way things are going, he might have to wait all the way until NEXT OCTOBER to see them win another. Poor thing. That's like half his lifetime away! And you want to make him a Cubs fan?
