Help!

There's a Doonesbury comic from years ago (15 or more) where the history teacher loses it and starts to shout patent nonsense, "Black is white" is the one I remember, but could also be up is down, day is night, whatever. And the students diligently take notes, "Gee, I didn't know half of this stuff!"

I need a copy of it, pronto. Help!

Edit: Got it, thanks!

Found one, not a good version, but good enough. Thanks, the "teaching is dead" line was the key.

Yeah, that's one of the places I found it. Wish it was clearer.

Find it and scan it myself! Some other day.

Brilliant, thanks. The minute Lollard described it I knew I had to have it for myself. :)

Have also passed it on to my AP English listserv -- there is a unit in one of the favourite instructional texts on the purpose / state of education. This fits nicely. :)

It's one of the all-time classics. I really must make an illicit high quality scan somehow ...
