Help!

There's a Doonesbury comic from years ago (15 or more) where the history teacher loses it and starts to shout patent nonsense, "Black is white" is the one I remember, but could also be up is down, day is night, whatever. And the students diligently take notes, "Gee, I didn't know half of this stuff!"

I need a copy of it, pronto. Help!

Edit: Got it, thanks!

Good news -- I wrote to uclick/mycomicspage and got a prompt reply:

"If you are looking for a particular comic, I would suggest going to the web
site http://www.amureprints.com/.

Here, you can search by feature and keyword for the comic you are looking
for. Once you have located the comic, you can contact us for reprint
ordering information at 800-255-6734, ext. 6688."

Did so and the correct date for "teaching is dead" is 1/27/1985. See http://www.amureprints.com/Detail.asp?ImageID=20707

Called them and ... color 11"x17" (image size 9x13) acid free paper costs $65 (B&W strips cost $50) + $8.25 shipping
They'll frame it, too: metal frame $34, wood $42, $7 for matte

It's not a bargain but probably not too out of line for a custom job (and a great strip!). I'll think about it. Odd to have to talk to a human about it. The amureprints site sells rights for projects like reprinting in a book.

Good luck! Andrew
