I just posted some nasty things about Cindy McCain, but am deleting them. I am just frustrated at the attacks on Michelle Obama.

If Cindy were a democrat, the insults, addictions, thefts and (alleged) infidelities would be plastered all over every media outlet.

Maybe I'm glad she's not.

I don't read this stuff (about the candidate's families, not your posts!) so I know little about this. Is anyone talking about their (her? how long have they been married?) adopted kid this time around?

There was a lot of talk about this on adoption mailing lists in the past; as a general rule, Americans weren't allowed to adopt from Bangladesh (at least at that time), and a lot of people who wanted to adopt were very upset that apparently she got around the rules by lying.
