Breakthroughs?

First the important bit: We've finally put an unsorted group of pictures, bad and good, from the last few months online. They include Easter, Applecon, grandpa's visit, and his first haircut.



I love this picture. I was out of town, my dad came to help Shannon out, and he and Nico got to know each other as grownups (because Nico was just a baby the last time we saw the grandparents).



In case you are wondering, I am pretty sure that they are on "Goodnight light and the red balloon. Goodnight bears. Goodnight chairs."



Nico seems on the verge of enormous breakthroughs in speech, verbal expressiveness, signing, walking, and really everything else. I expect they will each take their time in approaching the next level, but his physical steadyness and strength, coupled with his eagerness to play and learn, fills us with joy. Sorry to be so gushy!

Oh yeah, spatchy's been big lately. Nico's been sticking spoons and spatchys into food and waving it around. Sometimes it lands in his mouth by mistake. But if I lean forward and say, "ahhhhhhhhh" he feed me with great glee. So he's on his way.

#32 is an utter delight, #5 and #6 made the smile that was already on my face grown larger, and you should make a big print of #35 and put it up in his room. So much love, so much joy.

No apologies! Sharing joy with your friends and loved ones is a treasure for us all.

In fact, if you want to send me your highest resolution version of #35, I'll print it here on 13x19" paper and send it your way. (If there's a way to download a high-res version from Fotki, I'm not finding it.) #6, too. And Grandpa and Grandson....

Fotki charges pennies for high-res prints (from the original photo) and ships them out for 1.75 a batch (however big a batch is). It's a good deal and good product.

Understood, agreed, and no complaints. But I can't make a 13x19" enlargement for you from a Fotki print, and I might be able to from the original digital file, depending on the resolution used when shooting it.

(Not that you necessarily want the enlargements, of course.)
