Date: 2008-10-23 02:39 pm (UTC)Personally I think it's a neat possibility, though I'm more interested in delaying and or preventing Alzheimers especially with a population susceptible to early onset.
Anything that makes a child's life easier and the benefits outweigh the risks is certainly worth working towards.

Date: 2008-10-23 04:18 pm (UTC)Meanwhile there are things we know increase general brain function at certain levels, which I'm sure you've heard all about, like omega 3 fatty acids. They don't do anything like what this drug promises to do... but every little bit helps.
