African. The emails I got from repugs stressed that is was "African" American.


Reading all of them together has a comical quality because they are so outlandish and off base.

I think he's really stand up but I just can't wrap my head around him being terribly liberal so much as maybe say reasonable.

Despite repeated claims that he's the most liberal person to be nominated in 50 years, most people seem to place him economically to the right of Richard Nixon, for example. (Nixon being amazingly centralist economically for a Republican, it's true.)

There's this organization -- I forget the name -- that always manages to calcualte that the Democratic nominee for President is the most liberal person in whatever group they're from.

Obama is certainly a centrist; he's to the right of H. Clinton.
