Home again. There were a lot of military personnel on the flight (traveling from Fort Bragg to Fort McCoy, in WI, to train for a few weeks before they deploy). One of them said, with a heavy note of irony,

"They threw out my cans of Red Bull, but they let me keep my butane lighter and MREs."

They obviously have no idea the danger MREs pose to civilized society.
