Mark it down people. 6:27 this morning my son stood up and banged a bowl and spoon together (as is his wont) without holding onto anything. I had enough time to look around him to make sure he wasn't touching a chair or something, but no, 5 seconds of standing.

Actually it was bizarre. For well over a year, "standing" has involved holding onto something. Seeing him just standing there on the floor ... it was a "does not compute" moment. Cool as ice though!
