In the 300 level, yeah. I take a different tone in other classes.
Hmmm, I don't want to sound mean, so much as honest that there's work to do. Suggestions on places where I come off as harsh?
I'm actually not nice as a prof. I'm friendly, but not nice. Some students get confused though.
