They've made a movie of Tristan and Isolde instead of making another King Arthur or Romeo and Juliet. I'm impressed.

Last Tristan and Isolde movie I saw sorta sucked. Hope this one doesn't suck.
Maybe it didn't suck. I dunno. Wasn't memorable. Not even Richard Burton. But it's been, uh, decades...

What's the name of the new one?

Hello again! Hope your holiday was good!
I still haven't seen Pride and Prejudice. Mind you, I *own* six hours of Colin Firth, so it's hard to see the point, but I suppose for the sake of completeness . . .
Yeah!

Which version did they base it on? Chaucer? Shakespear? Wagner? -OR- dare I say it, Hollywood? ;-)

Just read the blurb:
An affair between a very noble knight (Franco) and the very married future Queen of England (Myles) spells doom for the young lovers.
England... ENGLAND? Dude, she's supposed to be Queen of Cornwall... ugh.

I'm quite thrilled about this, especially since I'm starting a new Arthurian larp chronicle shortly.
