Just what exactly is a Dominicana #34 jersey?

I would guess it's sports related, and somehow related to your academic field, but I'm otherwise lost at sea...

Red Sox baseball star David "Big Papi" Ortiz wears #34 and he's playing in the World Baseball Classic right now for the Dominican Republic. So that'd be an Ortiz jersey from the classic.

Ortiz is doing very well in today's game against Venezuela.

I was right! Hooray! Do you know where to get such a thing?

Holy cow. 235 dollars for an Ortiz jersey. Ouch. I knew it would be expensive but ow.

Yeah. Otherwise my lj post would have been, "I own a #34 Dominicana jersey." :)

Funny, I was just thinking I needed a #57 Venezuela jersey! Though I'd take a Dominicana #34 too.

Well, especially as Papi dedicated this game to Puckett. Then launched two.
