JUNE 10th - Kurt Griesemer and I will be playing all night at the Gingko Coffee Shop in St. Paul, MN. I'll play awhile, he'll play awhile, we'll maybe play together awhile. I plan to invite guests.

Minicon and stuff

You should know that at the end of Minicon, Louie and I wound up with two guitar tuners (though I'm not at all sure where they are right now) and two capos. Somebody mentioned to me that you'd ended up the weekend without your tuner, so I'm wondering if this might be yours. There was also some electronic stuff in the storage room that definitely wasn't Louie's and mine. Mark Richards would know what happened to this stuff. Is it yours?

I'll have to check when I get back from Northfield tomorrow. Capo and tuner are certainly possible, but I have no other gear. Thanks for looking into it. Once again, nice job organizing stuff at Minicon.

Saw you at Minicon

Hey there, mmerriam and I first heard you perform at Minicon last weekend. We were so impressed by your talent at the Friday night music circle, we made a point to make it to your gig on Saturday! I think my favorite song was "Let's Kill Saturday Night," but mmerriam was partial to "$300 Car" (I think because he actually owned one, long long ago).

I don't know if you're likely to remember us -- mmerriam was the other blind guy (not Howard) in the music circle on Saturday (with the ashiko drum) and I was always nearby with a lap full of crochet.

So I just wanted to let you know you have two new fans. We hope to make it to the gig on 6/10. Please be sure to post when you know what time.

Thanks so much for the response! I'll definitely be posting more, but I anticipate it'll be around 7:00 or so. Me 7-8:30, Kurt 8:45-10:15, Both of us 10:30-11:00 ... but we'll see.
