Yes, I know, they're cheap. I'm waiting to buy a better one in the fall when I have a paycheck again.

Sometimes you can get rebates that will bring the cost down to zero, but fronting the money is the hassle right now.

I'm pretty sure we have an extra printer or two lurking in our basement, it's just a matter of whether they actually work and would work for y'all. We'll be investigating the basement further this weekend and I'll keep you guys in mind.

Wish I read this sooner as we have a nice Cannon Ink Jet collecting dust in the office I could have thrown at Shannon Sunday (the potato salad was great) but if you're interested can still be yours for the low, low cost of... well nothing I guess.

Needs new cartrigages, worked fine when last used. Not all that old for a printer and quiet.

And when you DO buy a printer - remember to get one with individual ink cartridges. And keep in mind that Printers are sold to you cheaply in order to get you to buy the ink cartridges. I mean, $40 for ink, for a $60-80 printer? And nothing annoys me more than to have to buy a single cartridge and run out of say, BLUE, and suddenly have to either print everything with a severe pink palate, or toss the thing and buy a new one, when there's still plenty of the other colors left in it.
