Drug helps mice with Down's.
As the friend who sent this to me noted, regardless of what this study ends up showing, it's nice to see the research being done.

On a quick read, sounds a little bit like
Flowers for Algernon

That's what the NYTimes said too. That the guy wanted to name his project "The Algernon Project" or something, but hopes to skip the sad, sad, ending.
