(no subject)

I have, right now, the best friends that I have ever had. And the best friend that I have ever had. Schmaltzy, but true.

Oh, and you should hire [livejournal.com profile] mrsmodew for all your cake-related needs.

the music circle last night reminded me of a high school graduation party - as if a bunch of us were heading off to far away places and probably wouldn't be getting together much in the years to come

You and Kurt (who actually left the room a while ago but keeps turning up around here anyways) will be greatly missed and never forgotten.

It'll be hard to forget him when we'll be back all the time.:)

Yeah, what she said!

At Jennifer's high school graduation, the speaker said to her class, "You will never all be all together again." I was thinking about that last night.

K.

I was never 'all together' in the first place.

Yeah, these things fell like that, but then, you know, someone throws something silly, like a wedding, and bang, there we all are!

I still have plans for you all in my (and my family's) life, so there.

Music, music, music...

You're good people and I'm glad to be part of the crowd.

That cake, offhand, was the _best I've ever had._

Man...I already miss that cake.

Did you bring some home for your wife?

I'll bring some on the 31st

[identity profile] madtruk.livejournal.com 2007-07-17 01:54 pm (UTC)(link)
Ha! I mean, uh, no. Cake would be much appreciated. I haven't told her either, so if you forget, it'd be better not to mention it, cause she'd be mad at you.

Yeah, that's right, you...

Uh...

[identity profile] mrsmodew.livejournal.com 2007-07-17 12:37 am (UTC)(link)
Thank you! What a wonderful compliment. :) :) :)

It is merely true :).

Hiding a dark chocolate bar inside a cake...

*drool*

I am so glad you liked it! I have a thing for ganache and really enjoy changing it's consistency and kind of chocolate in order to have it do what I want it to. I would put ganache in everything sweet if I could get away with it. :)

PS, thanks for friending me! I have added you as well. :)

Thank you! I really enjoyed the creation of the cakes. I am glad I got an opportunity to do something so complex. :)
