You know you want a cat.
I have in my house:
A one year old (ish) white and orange tomcat.
He's neutered (probably - the doctor said he's either neutered or is younger than she thinks and has abdominal testicles. Check back in a month).
He's free of feline leuikemia, respiratory disease, and other such ailments.
He's had his vaccinations, but could use boosters in a month.
He's been given a dose of de-wormer (just in case), and I've got another dose to give him in 2 weeks.
He's been in some scrapes, but is on antibiotics just to be on the safe side. One recent battlewound has been profesionally cleaned and disinfected.
--------------------
He's impossibly sweet and cuddly, even when being subjected to horrible things by the vet. The biggest problem was getting him to stop purring so she could hear his heart and lungs. This is a cat you want. You know it is.
Off to give him a bath.

(and if I was working, I'd throw money at the hobo cat rehab. Thanks for seeing to it.)

Unlike the free-yet-hoaxish folks at The Dog Island.

We would never take your cat from you.

I do not want another cat, although he's very nice.
Taking him in and cleaning him up was the right thing to do. Finding him a new home will also be the right thing to do.
